Jennifer Hillier, who is managing the lab, is a former employee of the Canadian Grain Commission.

Jennifer has joined Roger Rivest Marketing Ltd as the Laboratory Manager, and Nature Lane Farms as a greenhouse and crop consultant. She brings with her a strong background in Agriculture and Quality Assurance. She grew up on a dairy farm in Essex County and started her career working on various research projects with the Agricultural Canada Research station in Harrow.
She also managed and ran the lab for the Canadian Grains Commission in Chatham until the CGC closed the lab in 2012. Her expertise is in grain analysis and she is capable of analyzing samples for GMO, Mycotoxins (Vomitoxin, Aflatoxin) via the ELISA technique and can conduct Falling numbers to test for Alfa amylase activity in various grains.
The lab at Roger Rivest Marketing Ltd will also be offering gluten testing via the S-ELISA technique in addition to moisture, protein, oil, and test weight analysis. After the closing of the CGC Lab, Jennifer went on to gain experience in the greenhouse industry working for a local greenhouse as their SQF practitioner, scout and assistant to seed sales. Jennifer looks forward to assisting you with your laboratory, field crop and greenhouse needs.
