Below is information about an upcoming Ontario-wide conference, Food Entrepreneurs: Building Ontario Innovation One Product at a Time, which will take place on March 3 and 4, 2016 in Barrie, Ontario.
The Agri-Food Management Institute has been working diligently with host Georgian College, to organize an Ontario-wide conference to help food entrepreneurs (those adding value to food) grow their business. They have a very ambitious agenda with panel discussions ranging from innovation, to HR, to export, to marketing, to regulations, to a whole range of other important topics. There are also two pre-conference workshops on food safety regulations and nutrition labelling.
This is a really excellent opportunity for food-related entrepreneurs from around Ontario to network and learn at. I have attached the flyer for the event to this email and I would greatly appreciate it if you could please distribute this to clients that you think would find this a valuable learning opportunity and other stakeholders who may be able to share this information more broadly.
Adding to the value the conference, the organizing committee is also hoping to showcase innovative and successful food entrepreneurs from across the province. We are looking for food entrepreneurs who might be interested in the opportunity to showcase their product to the anticipated 500+ attendees, as well as be willing to answer questions about how they grew their business to provide a bit of a mentorship opportunity between entrepreneurs in attendance. I have attached that expression of interest to this email as well, and would again appreciate if you could circulate that information to an entrepreneurs who you think might be interested in the opportunity.
