The “Ontario Young Farmers Forum” (OYFF) takes place November 20 & 21 in Toronto, in conjunction with the Ontario Federation of Agriculture’s Annual Convention.  This is a great opportunity for young farmers to get together and hear more about the current issues of Ontario Farmers.  It is also a time for young farmers to discuss the agriculture industry at the provincial level.

The Kent Federation of Agriculture (KFA) realized the importance of having our young farmers involved in the discussions and decision making affecting agriculture so again this year the KFA is pleased to offer sponsorship for one or two young farmers to attend this event.

For the Ontario Young Farmers Forum, a young farmer is considered someone who is involved in agriculture and between the ages of 18-40.  So, if you’re a young farmer and interested in attending the OYFF, being held in Toronto,  November 20&21 please contact the either the Junior Farmers Association of Ontario or the KFA.

The cost to attend the OYFF is $160 for Registration plus as mentioned, it is being held in Toronto Nov 20 & 21 so there would be hotel costs as well.

The theme for this year’s OYFF is “Navigating your way to agricultural success.”   More information about the Ontario Young Farmers Forum can be found on the Junior Farmers’ of Ontario website www.jfao.on.ca .    For more information on the Kent Federation of Agriculture sponsorship, please contact the KFA office at 519-674-1500 ext 63595 or email kfa@uoguelph.ca
