Would you like to volunteer for the International Plowing Match (IPM)?

Hello:

My name is Anne Velle and I have the task of finding volunteers in the education tents for the IPM to assist students at specific activities where extra help is needed.

The day will be divided into two shifts. The early shift is 8:30 am – 1:00 pm and the later shift is 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm (this is when the tented city closes). The majority of students will be in the earlier shift. If anyone would like to stay for the entire day, just let me know.

The IPM is from Tuesday September 18th until Saturday September 23rd. If you would like to help in the education tents, you can email me back or phone and indicate which day(s) and shift(s) you would like.

If you would like to help and feel you can’t be on your feet for that many hours, let me know and I can find a job that you can perform while seated.

It is also necessary to go online and fill out a volunteer application form. This is a necessary step. Simply go to this link to find the volunteer form. http://www.plowingmatch.org/volunteer2018

We are also in need of volunteers in the school bus area. Jim McLachlan is looking after this. You can reach him at 519-495-7490 or themclaclans@gmail.com

The IPM will be a wonderful event, but we need volunteers.  I hope you will consider helping!

Sincerely, Anne Velle    519-354-4680  avelle48@gmail.com
