Ridgetown College Hosts Annual Crop Diagnostic Day

RIDGETOWN – Doug Young may have spent the day blowing smoke, but once it cleared away an important message remained.

The introductory soils instructor at the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus used a blow torch to light up smoke emitters as part of a windbreak demonstration at the 20th annual Southwest Crop Diagnostic Day.

“I have lots of fun doing this. I get to blow smoke all day, this is great,” he said with a laugh.
