Since 1924, Thompsons principal business has involved the distribution of corn, soybeans, wheat, and dry beans as well as providing farmers with the necessary inputs to produce and grow successful crops.
Thompsons Limited provides high quality agricultural supplies and services, including seed, fertilizer and crop protectants to farmers throughout Ontario’s agricultural regions. We also offer bean processing services in Ontario and Northern Minnesota.
Thompsons exports products to food processors in over 30 countries worldwide. We were also the first Grain Elevator in the world to obtain SQF Level 3 certification.
Under new management in 2013 (the family-owned business was purchased by The Andersons Inc. and Lansing trade Group LLC), Thompsons Inc. plans to strengthen the specialty product platform. They are working to be risk management partners with local farmers, validating profit and creating value.
