It is the primary fundraiser for the Lambton-Kent Agriculture in the Classroom (LKAITC) committee. Current committee projects include Harvest Days, an ag program for grade 3 students, Spring Days, an ag program for grade 4 students, and an Adopt A Farmer program using Facetime or Skype as the platform back to a classroom from a farm near you. LKAITC also refurbishes classroom activity kits with the assistance of the Lambton-Kent Science Education Partnership and supports Food Works that is a program about cooking with local foods carried out by One Tomato.

“Agriculture in the Classroom educates students about rural life on the farm that will help students make better decisions on agriculture in the future,” says committee Chair, Judy Krall.
