Representatives of the 2018 International Plowing Match & Rural Expo are travelling to the Town of Minto (Harriston) in Wellington County to take part in this year’s IPM event.
Co-chairs Darrin Canniff and Leon LeClair, along with their Executive Committee have a display at the match and will be meeting members of the community to promote the upcoming event.
“This is a great way to experience the IPM event, learn from the hosts of this year’s match and continue preparation for 2018,” Canniff said.
“We are looking forward to seeing how this year’s event unfolds as well as to see and hear from Chatham-Kent residents who will be travelling to Minto.” added LeClair. “Feel free to drop by our booth and say hello.”
This year’s IPM runs from September 20-24 in Minto. Next year’s event will be in Huron County with the 2018 match taking place in Pain Court from September 18-22.
The International Plowing Match & Rural Expo has the potential to attract more than 100,000 visitors.
Volunteers for the Chatham-Kent match are most welcome. For more information about the 2018 match or volunteering please visit our website: http://www.plowingmatch.org/ipm2018
