From a news release
Each year the Kent Federation of Agriculture (KFA) sponsors young farmers to attend the Ontario Young Farmers’ Forum (OYFF). The OYFF takes place in conjunction with the Ontario Federation of Agriculture’s Annual convention in Toronto in late November.
The OYFF attracts some of the brightest young farmers from across the province. According to the OYFF, a young farmer is between the ages of 18-40 and involved in agriculture.
The OYFF runs from Sunday, November 19 to Monday, November 20.
More information on the OYFF can be found on the Junior Farmers Association of Ontario’s website at www.jfao.on.ca/oyff.
The KFA realizes the importance of having our young farmers involved in the discussions and decision making affecting agriculture and is pleased to sponsor one or two young farmers to attend this event.
For more information about the KFA sponsorship, contact the Kent Federation of Agriculture at 519-674-1500 ext. 63595, or kfa@uoguelph.ca
