From a news release

The SouthWest Agricultural Conference returns to Ridgetown on January 3rd and 4th, 2018 to celebrate its 25th anniversary: “A Legacy of Agricultural Excellence.”

With over 40 sessions, delivered by top experts in the field, growers will learn about everything from precision agriculture to maximizing yield, nutrient management to cover crops, and pest management to marketing.

Complementing an incredible lineup of speakers will be the traditional trade show and Taste Ontario reception, along with exciting additions to thank registrants for being part of the past 25 years, and looking forward to another 25 years of SWAC excellence.

“Unbelievable!” declares Program Co-Chair, Peter Johnson. “The 25th SWAC program is amazing – awesome topics, great speakers, and highlighted by two incredible Canadian feature speakers. This is one conference you just cannot afford to miss!”

Feature speakers include Jon Montgomery and Lt – Gen, The Honourable Roméo Dallaire (Ret’d).

Montgomery is a celebrated Canadian Olympian and host of The Amazing Race Canada, who will inspire attendees to step outside of their comfort zone, pursue their dreams and conquer their fears.

Dallaire is a true Canadian hero and humanitarian, whose incredible legacy will leave the audience humbled, challenged to make a difference, and proud to be Canadian.
