The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) hosts the 24th Annual Southwest Crop Diagnostic Day (SWCDD) in partnership with the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus and the Southwest Soil and Crop Improvement Associations.

This year, the event takes place on July 4 and July 5. The same program is offered both days, running from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is at 8:15 a.m.

The Southwest Crop Diagnostic Day provides hands-on education to agribusiness personnel to assist in the correct identification and treatment of crop problems common to southern Ontario.

Traditionally, staff from OMAFRA, University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, the agriculture industry and international colleagues conduct the training sessions.

More information can also be found on the Southwest Crop Diagnostic Days website.
