The Kent Federation of Agriculture (KFA) is hosting its regional meeting on Aug. 8. It will get underway at 5:30 p.m. at Roesch Meats and More in Kent Bridge. All Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA) members living in Chatham-Kent are invited.
The meeting is a time for local farmers to socialize and discuss agricultural issues. This year’s guest speaker will be Michael Whitson from Workplace Safety & Prevention Services speaking on “Cannabis & other substances in the workplace.”
Elections will also take place for three Policy Advisory Councilors and Delegates to attend the upcoming OFA annual convention this November.
Tickets are $7.50 each which includes dinner. Pre-registration is required.
